Call for Participants: LTTA – Citizen Journalism SUPERHEROES

We are pleased to announce our 5-day Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) within the framework of the Erasmus+ project Citizen Journalism SUPERHEROES. The project equips NGOs, educators, and community workers to use citizen journalism as a tool for civic engagement, media literacy, and storytelling for social change.

Who can apply?
This training is open to:

• Community workers

• NGO staff

• Adult educators and facilitators

No prior experience in citizen journalism is required. We welcome motivated participants aged 18+ who are interested in helping learners critically engage with media and contribute to public dialogue.

What to expect
The LTTA is a collaborative testing ground for the innovative adult learning methods developed by the project consortium. Through interactive and practical sessions, participants will explore three key areas:

1. New media literacy

2. Media ethics and digital citizenship

3. Practical content creation skills

The training will use non-formal lesson plans and tools currently in their pilot phase. Together, participants will test and refine these resources through peer learning, group work, co-creation, and critical discussions.

Preparation
One week before the LTTA, all participants will take part in a mandatory three-hour online session introducing the digital tools used in the Citizen Journalism SUPERHEROES training programme.
