Monomyths earns the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation: A new chapter begins

 

Starting June 2024, Asociația Monomyths is officially accredited under the Erasmus+ Programme Accreditation in Youth (KA150-YOU) – a milestone that marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for our organization, our partners, and the young people we serve.

This accreditation recognizes over a decade of dedicated work in empowering youth through joyful learning experiences, non-formal education, and lifelong learning. It is a vote of confidence from the European Commission and the Romanian National Agency in our mission to help young people and youth workers grow, connect, and lead with purpose.

What this means for Monomyths

The Erasmus+ accreditation allows Monomyths to plan and implement mobility projects in the field of youth with long-term stability and vision. It gives us the framework to deepen our impact, expand our partnerships, and invest in the growth of both young people and youth workers.

Through this accreditation, we aim to:

• Enhance life competences (LifeComp)  such as self-regulation, flexibility, wellbeing, empathy, collaboration, and critical thinking.

• Support youth workers and volunteers in designing transformative, learner-centered experiences.

• Create a European network of youth NGOs that share knowledge, co-create tools, and contribute to the EU Youth Goals.

• Reach more young people in small and medium communities, especially those with fewer opportunities, and give them access to quality learning experiences.

Monomyths has always believed that youth work is not just about organizing activities – it’s about shaping lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and empathetic leaders.

What’s next

Starting June 2024, Monomyths will roll out a series of Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, as well as one participation activity that reflect our strategic goals and core values. We will continue to co-create with our partners, mentors, and young changemakers – ensuring that each project becomes a space for reflection, collaboration, and transformation.
